Weekly Training Schedule
Monday: Run/cycle not less than 1 hour
Tuesday: Gym session comprising weights circuit and 5km ergo
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday: Long ergo not less than 1 hour
Friday: Run/cycle not less than 1 hour
Saturday: Row 8 hours
Sunday: Row 4 hours
Planned Outings Schedule
19th January: Richmond (8 hour session)
2nd and 3rd February: Richmond (8 hour session per day)
16th and 17th February: Richmond (8 hour session per day)
23 February: Training session testing the speed of 4 rowers. A 20 mile circuit with 10 miles at race pace.
8th March: Race organised by the Great River Race committee. A round trip rowing to Greenwich, then doing the race from Ham House to Greenwich and back - 3 boats will be competing.
9th March: All teams meeting for fun races with other London 2 Paris crews
15th March: Richmond to Gravesend (12 hour session)
16th March: Gravesend (12 hour session)
28th and 29th March: Gravesend (12 hours per day)
5th and 6th April: Gravesend to Richmond (36 hour session)
19 and 20th April: Richmond (8 hours per day)
2nd May: London to Paris Race
