Sponsor Us
We are asking for two types of sponsorship, personal and corporate. If you would like to support us and the British Heart Foundation, we make it easy for you to do that through the Pay Now button below. Just follow their instructions online.
All amounts are gratefully received and will be recognised here on the site. Your donation will be split between supporting the great work of the BHF and paying our race entry fees (40/60). However, if you wish for your entire donation to go to the BHF please email sponsorship@lefigarowteam.com and we will be able to pass on the necessary details.
We are also asking for corporate sponsorship for this pioneering event and are offering three opportunities for you to choose from including Gold, Silver and Bronze.
The Gold Package
Costing £2,000 the Gold Package offers the maximum publicity available with company logos, measuring up to three feet long, taking prominence on the team’s boat. The required logos will also be displayed on the Le Figarow team’s clothing, which will be worn at all media appearances, and website. Of course the team would be pleased to run the requisite links from our site to sponsors’ own sites.
The Silver Package
For £1,500 sponsors will not only have reduced-size logos, of between one and two feet, featured on our boat but will also see their logos featured on our clothing and equally featured and linked on our website.
The Bronze Package
At £1,000 corporate sponsors will enjoy the media coverage and the associated attention as their logos will not only be featured on our clothing but also on our website. Again linked logos will allow sponsors to attract traffic from our site to theirs.

We have set a target of £40,000, of which £10,000 has already been raised through personal donations, events held and corporate sponsors. This will cover the costs of the event and raise a substantial amount for our chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation. As a team we are confident that we will be able to offer maximum exposure for companies which chose to back this extraordinary event. The media is already interested in the Le Figarow crew with The Daily Telegraph having already photographed us in preparation for a feature. Local newspapers are keen to run stories while national and sport magazines, radio and television are currently in discussions with the crew as to how best to cover both our training and the race itself. The website has become a major driver of traffic as more and more people become intrigued by this fascinating challenge. Of course, the quicker companies sign up with the Le Figarow team, the quicker then can reap the benefits of associating their brands with this incredible adventure.

The British Heart Foundation
While we are appealing for corporate sponsorship, the Le Figarow team is also actively raising money for its own chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation (BHF). As the nation's heart charity, the British Heart Foundation focuses on three vital things:
Investing in pioneering research - BFH funds around 1,200 research projects investigating every aspect of heart disease - from causes and safer drugs to improving surgical techniques.
Supporting and caring for heart patients -The BHF have a team of nurses who visit heart patients with all types of heart conditions in their homes and provide defibrillators and echocardiograph machines for hospitals, emergency services and first-aiders.
Providing vital information to help people reduce their own risk of dying prematurely from a heart or circulatory related illness - BHF produce publications, videos and other materials for health professionals and the public including children. We inform people about how to improve the health of their heart through public information campaigns, advertising and the media.
